About the project
The idea behind this project is to introduce the original Mexican culture to the Europeans in a new way. This year we invited an Aztec leader Xolotl, Tecciztemoc, his wife Yaopiltzin and their two daughters Ollin and Tzintzuni to the Czech Republic to introduce us to the art of old shamanic cultures and history of their tribe.
We organised 9 workshops at the Czech Republic. Each workshop includes teaching of the Aztec dance and the indian sweatlodge ritual - temazcal. The main focus is on learning the basics of the sacred Aztec dance to the rhytm of the drums and under the leading of Xolotl and his helpers. The workshops will also include special program for kids - making of tortillas, amulets, dancing etc.../. Kids can also participate in the dance and temazcal.
